► IMPLEMENTATION OF CORNERSTONE ON-DEMAND SOFTWARE SYSTEM
In 2013-2014, I managed the business process analysis and systems re-engineering for the Software as a Solution (SaaS) implementation for Cornerstone On-Demand Performance Management and Learning Management Systems for the Office of Human Resources, Organizational Development. The project included leading discussions over nine months with Cornerstone On-Demand consultants and representatives from all across the business units, to discover and configure the SaaS system to meet our business needs. I acted as the process lead and the project lead, system administrator, training consultant, documentation specialist, and help desk for the rollout of the two systems. I also negotiated the software and consultant contracts, as well as, monitored the project budget and work of the implementation specialists.
Additional information about the system implementation is available HERE.
► BLACKBOARD LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM UPGRADE
The Blackboard (Bb) upgrade, which took over a year, was necessary to keep our Learning Management System current. The process included hardware upgrades and running parallel systems until all (faculty) courses were migrated into the new software, and faculty acclimated to the redesigned interface. I was the Project Manager for this project, but also acted as a consulting liaison to outside developers for the ‘How To’ documentation and interactive video tutorials, along with performing usability testing on the final products.

► VIRTUAL SUPPORT SERVICES DEVELOPMENT
In 2007-08, the Strategic Planning Process in the department of Distance Learning (now the Office of eLearning and Innovation) determined that Tri-C needed to improve upon the virtual services available to students. A Department of Education Title III grant was awarded in October 2008 and the following projects were initiated: the creation of the Virtual Front Door, online orientations, eAdvising and the launch of online tutoring. Additional information about the Title III grant is available at http://title3.wordpress.com.
The Title III blog, designed and developed by my supervisor while I fine-tuned and maintained the content, won the ‘Northeast Ohio Society for Technical Communication 2009-2010 Award of Merit for
Online Communication.’
